Job Summary
RN – Surgery/Surgical Services provides patient-centered nursing care in the Yale New Haven Health System; responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation), coordination of care, health teaching and promotion, and collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team; requires adherence to ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, leadership and effective communication; CT nursing licensure and BCLS certification required; BSN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BSN graduation preferred; BSN preferred stated in posting
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
