Job Summary
RN - Surgery / Surgical Services role within Yale New Haven Health System. Responsible for professional nursing in accordance with the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards, including providing patient-centered care, leading and collaborating with the health care team, and applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation). BSN preferred; CT licensure required; emphasizes ethics, culturally congruent practice, leadership, education, and evidence-based practice as core components of professional nursing practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
