Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery/Surgical Services providing patient-centered, evidence-based care within Yale New Haven Health System. Responsibilities emphasize standards of practice and professional performance, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching, and evaluation; collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team; ethical practice, cultural congruence, leadership, education, and research integration. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current state RN licensure (CT), BCLS certification (or obtain within one month), and BSN preferred; clinical advancement through SPIRE encouraged. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
