Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Surgical Services providing patient-centered care per ANA standards; responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), coordinating care with the patient and health-care team, and health teaching within the CT practice framework; requires BSN preferred, CT RN licensure, and current BCLS; OR experience and SPIRE clinical advancement are encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
