Job Summary
RN for Surgery/Surgical Services; responsibilities emphasize standard nursing practice, assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching and promotion, and evaluation. Must practice under ANA Standards and professional practice model; requires leadership, collaboration, effective communication, ethics, culturally congruent practice; BSN preferred and CT RN licensure required; OR experience noted with emphasis on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice; SPIRE clinical advancement program encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Currently licensed and registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
- Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
