RN - Surgery / Surgical Services

RN - Surgery provides professional nursing care per ANA Standards of Practice and the YNHHS practice model. The RN delivers patient-centered care, exercises leadership and collaboration with the care team, and engages in assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching, and evaluation to support quality outcomes. Requires CT RN licensure; BSN preferred; BCLS certification required or obtained within one month of hire; clinical specialty certification encouraged. This role emphasizes ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, and professional practice evaluation within a safe, evidence-based framework.
