Registered Nurse (RN) for Surgery / Surgical Services providing patient-centered nursing care within Yale New Haven Health System; adheres to ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and YNHHS Professional Practice Model; responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching, and evaluating outcomes; collaborates with patient, family, and health care team; maintains ethical and professional standards, leadership and quality practice, and ongoing professional development. Requires CT RN licensure, BSN preferred, and current BCLS certification or within one month of hire. OR experience and SPIRE program advancement are noted as part of development.
