Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Surgical Services providing patient-centered care within Yale New Haven Health System. Adheres to ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and the YNHHS Professional Practice Model; responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care, coordination with the health care team, health teaching and promotion, and ensuring quality outcomes. Requirements include Connecticut RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BCLS certification (or within one month of hire). Experience opportunities highlighted include SPIRE clinical advancement and a focus on leadership, collaboration, and evidence-based practice within the operating room setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
