Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Surgical Services providing patient-centered perioperative care in a Yale New Haven Health System setting. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching, and evaluation), leadership and collaboration with patients, families, and health-care team, and adherence to ANA Scope and Standards of Practice. Requires CT RN licensure, current BCLS certification (or to obtain within one month of hire), and a BSN preferred. Experienced OR RN's encouraged to apply. Location: New York City area (the Bronx), NY, US.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
