Job Summary
RN - Surgery / Surgical Services at Yale New Haven Health System. Provides patient-centered nursing care within the standards of ANA and professional practice models; leadership, collaboration, and effective communication to ensure quality outcomes. Requires BSN preferred, CT RN licensure, and BCLS certification within one month of hire. Emphasis on establishing therapeutic relationships, cultural inclusivity, coordination of care, and health promotion across the patient and family. OR-focused nursing practice with opportunities for SPIRE clinical advancement; commitment to ethics, professional development, and evidence-based practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
