Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Surgical Services providing professional nursing care in alignment with ANA standards and YNHHS values. Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of care; health teaching, collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team; leadership and quality improvement; adherence to licensure requirements and organizational practice model. Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing, CT RN licensure, and current BCLS certification (or obtain within one month of hire); BSN preferred. Location: Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Relates to standards of practice, ethics, culturally congruent care, and evidence-based practice.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
