RN - Surgery / Surgical Services

Provides professional nursing care as a registered nurse per the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act within Yale New Haven Health System. Demonstrates leadership, delegation, collaboration, effective communication, and focuses on patient-centered care. Practices in accordance with ANA Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice and the YNHHS Professional Practice Model. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching and evaluation; emphasizes culturally congruent practice and Ethics, communications, and quality of care. BSN preferred; licensure in CT required; current BCLS certification required within one month of hire.
