Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Surgical Services providing patient-centered care per the Yale New Haven Health System standards. Responsible for applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation) and collaborating with the patient, family, and health care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Maintains ethics, leadership and professional practice through evidence-based care, communication, and culturally congruent practice. Requires RN graduation from an accredited nursing program, CT licensure, and BCLS certification within one month of hire; BSN preferred. Location: Sanborn, MN; OR RN experience and SPIRE clinical advancement encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
