Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of various levels of nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessment findings to determine diagnosis and care issues, and develops intervention plans to attain patient outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment, providing learning opportunities and direct health information. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and delegates duties appropriately among team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
