Job Summary
Perform various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography, and ultrasound examinations, maintaining competency in three modalities. Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs, while testing defibrillators and checking crash cart integrity. Prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures and conduct mobile imaging examinations as necessary. Maintain Basic Life Support certification and adhere to Adventist Health's vaccination requirements. Work in a 47-bed hospital with three operating rooms and four cardiac catheterization labs, serving the Kern County community.
Required Qualifications
- Radiologic Technologist (CCI-RCS) or RTPET: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
