Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Requires collaboration with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing, humane environment; provides learning opportunities for patients/family and team members; and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of the healthcare team; performs other job-related duties as assigned. Must meet vaccination requirements and compliance with E-Verify as part of employment. Globally, the role emphasizes patient-centered nursing care within an acute care facility setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- CPR or BLS certification: Required
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
