Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process; supervises and directs nursing staff, coordinates care with other disciplines, and utilizes clinical judgment. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe, healing environment; provides patient and family education; participates in discharge planning and delegates tasks to the care team as appropriate. Requires RN licensure and BLS/CPR certifications, with BSN preferred; prior acute care experience preferred. Per Diem, Day Shift role based in Kailua, HI with Adventist Health Castle.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
