Job Summary
Demonstrate competency in clinical practice by managing complex patients and families while adapting care to rapidly changing conditions. Independently implement the nursing process, integrate evidence-based practice resources, and safely operate unit-based patient care technology and computerized information systems. Delegate care where appropriate, serve as a preceptor for new employees and students, and conduct self-assessments to identify learning needs. Implement infection control procedures, report equipment malfunctions or safety incidents immediately, and refer to other providers for continuity of care. Participate in quality improvement studies and readiness activities while adhering to hospital policies and ethical guidelines. Work 6:30 AM to 5 PM with no weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Must hold American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- One (1) year of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
