Job Summary
Join Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute as an RN in Surgery for their new facility focusing on complex neurological conditions. Responsibilities include providing nursing care in an operative setting, performing scrub and circulating functions, and preparing the operating room and surgical instruments. Ideal candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within six months. Candidates should also have at least one year of experience or complete their Perioperative Residency Program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross
- One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within six months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Additional Requirements
