Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards, supervising staff and directing activities while coordinating with other disciplines. Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessments to determine diagnoses, and develops intervention plans to attain patient outcomes. Implements care strategies to promote a safe environment, collaborates with patients, families, and providers, and provides learning opportunities. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity and delegates duties to healthcare team members. Requires BSN, RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS certifications. Full-time day shift in Kings County.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
