Job Summary
Perform the Nursing Process using evidence-based practice to deliver individualized, relationship-based care while coordinating interdisciplinary rounds and documentation. Partner with patients and families to set goals and ensure cultural diversity is reflected in service delivery. Uphold Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards, complete mandatory education, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to support workforce development. Lead performance improvement initiatives, participate in shared governance, and contribute to protocol development to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Requires 5+ years of direct patient care experience, RN licensure, and BLS/NRP certifications.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program or ARC-NALS - Amer Red Cross Neonatal Advanced Life Support or NRP-I - NRP - Instructor or NRP-P - NRP-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- Minimum 5 years RN direct patient care experience
