Job Summary
RN Supervisor on weekends overseeing floor nurses and nursing staff in a long-term care setting. Provides direct nursing care as needed, supervises day-to-day nursing activities, ensures care is provided per physician orders, conducts resident assessments, coordinates communication with families, physicians, and other providers, and assists with staffing calculations and emergencies. Requires Florida RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of supervisory experience; prior long-term care or related clinical experience is desirable. Schedule is every other Saturday and Sunday with flexibility as needed; located in Jacksonville, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse
- CPR Certification
- Minimum one year as a supervisor
- Experience in long-term care desirable; med-surgical, Home Health, or Emergency Room experience helpful
- Ability to supervise floor nurses and staff; manage staffing and assessments; coordinate care with families and physicians
