Job Summary
RN Supervisor is responsible for nursing supervision, coordination, and evaluation of day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care setting, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Requires a nursing degree and active RN license; must demonstrate leadership and supervisory ability. Prior RN supervisor experience in a long-term care environment is preferred. Weekend Baylor role in Alabama at Bill Nichols Veterans Home, overseeing nursing staff and maintaining quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or graduate of an approved RN program
- Current, unencumbered, active RN license in the state
- Leadership and supervisory ability
- Willingness to supervise other personnel
- Prior experience as an RN Supervisor in a long-term care community is preferred
