Job Summary
RN Supervisor (SNF) contract role in Queens, NY. Oversees nursing staff in a skilled nursing facility, with every-other-weekend weekend-evening shifts. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, guiding admissions and discharge planning, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations (DOH, CMS), maintaining QA standards, overseeing narcotics tracking and medication administration, and coordinating staff development and training. Requires active NY RN license, a valid RN degree, at least 3 years of nursing home evening supervision experience, and ability to work weekend rotations. Compensation is $60/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) degree
- Licensure: Active New York State RN license
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing home experience in an evening supervision capacity
- Must be available to work every other weekend
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in patient care documentation and safe medication administration
