RN Supervisor - Registered Nurse - Main Operating Room

Job Summary
Organize and administer nursing service in the assigned specialty area by assisting in the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of operations and patient care. Assume managerial duties as delegated by the OR Manager and demonstrate fiscal responsibility in all aspects of the position. Orient new coworkers and permanent team members in conjunction with the Resource Coordinator and the OR Nurse Clinician. Support continuous improvement of quality and service to ensure Mercy's goal of excellence in clinical outcomes and satisfaction of those we serve. Demonstrate fairness, integrity, and compassion in interactions. Full-time (40 hours/week) shift at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City.
Required Qualifications
- One to three years technical school or college required in Nursing
- Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 3 years healthcare experience
- CPR required
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- Prefer at least one year Operating Room RN experience
- Proven leadership skills
- CNOR preferred
