Job Summary
RN Supervisor (Registered Nurse) to assist in planning, organizing, developing and directing nursing services to assure the highest quality resident care. Responsible for initiating resident Plans of Care on admission, implementing recommendations from consultants and Quality Assurance, reviewing and updating Plans of Care, notifying physicians and guardians of significant condition changes, monitoring emergencies, maintaining a safe and clean unit, and coordinating nursing care and documentation. Requires supervision experience, leadership and strong communication skills, and current state nursing licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current nursing licensure in the state in which practicing.
- At least one year of experience in supervision.
- Strong qualities of leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
