Job Summary
RN Supervisor coordinates and organizes personnel and other resources to meet patient care functions in a cost-effective manner; collaborates to provide crisis management, interprets policy and procedure, and ensures timely and effective communication between individuals and departments. The role represents organizational leadership across venues on a 24-hour basis and collaborates to act on behalf of the leadership team. Requires a BSN, 3 years of clinical nursing experience, and leadership experience (formal for external applicants or informal for internal applicants); current MI RN licensure and BLS certification. The position supports nursing staff across units at Grosse Pointe Hospital within Corewell Health, and emphasizes coordination, leadership, and adherence to governance and policy in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Required
- Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required
- One year of relevant formal nursing leadership experience required for external applicants
- One year of relevant demonstrated informal leadership experience required for internal applicants
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
