Job Summary
Supervise nursing personnel and day-to-day activities during an assigned evening tour of duty under the Director of Nursing. Ensure clinical care planning and delivery processes coordinate quality patient care in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Assess residents or clients upon admission and periodically as conditions change, while performing rounds to evaluate patient condition. Provide or assist with direct patient care, including activities of daily living, meal assistance, medication administration, and treatment. Requires RN license, minimum five years nursing experience, and one year as a nurse supervisor. Evening shift with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- RN License
- Minimum 5+ years nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare setting
- Minimum 1-year experience as a nurse supervisor
- CPR/BLS certified
- Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures
- knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care centers
- The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
