Job Summary
Supervise and support nursing staff during the overnight shift, providing clinical guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Monitor resident care to ensure services meet established standards, respond to condition changes, and coordinate interventions while communicating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Assist with admissions, transfers, and assessments, ensuring accurate medication, treatment, and documentation completion in compliance with facility policies and state regulations. Maintain a visible, supportive leadership presence to foster a positive, respectful work environment. Consistent Monday-Friday 11 PM–7 AM schedule with excellent health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Jersey RN license in good standing
- Consistent Monday-Friday 11 PM–7 AM overnight schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Prior nursing experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or a similar setting preferred
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Compassionate approach to resident care
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
