RN Supervisor

Plan, organize, and direct nursing functions for patients on the unit by assessing conditions, preparing care plans, and administering medications and IV fluids. Make nursing assignments based on skill levels and patient needs, while directing non-professional personnel to implement care plans and correct deviations from standards. Perform point of care testing, maintain competency for quality control procedures, and document lab results in patient charts. Conduct independent rounds to observe symptoms, evaluate progress, and modify treatment plans as required. Identify operational problems and communicate with hospital departments to resolve issues.
