Job Summary
RN Supervisor position overseeing evening clinical operations in a long-term care facility. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff to ensure quality resident care, ensuring compliance with DOH and federal LTC regulations, maintaining survey readiness, overseeing admissions from hospital to nursing home, developing and monitoring care plans, ensuring GG documentation standards, guiding staff on clinical best practices, and providing direct patient care as needed. Requires active RN license, 5+ years of LTC supervisory experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and ability to manage documentation and admissions; evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) with every-other-weekend availability; vaccination and background checks required. Work location is in-person in Jamaica, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting
- Strong knowledge of DOH and federal LTC regulations
- Proven experience with admissions, assessments, and care planning
- Familiarity with GG documentation and regulatory documentation standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Willingness to undergo nationwide background check and/or fingerprinting
