Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator in a Med Surg Diabetic Endo unit leads patient-centered nursing care during the shift, assists with admissions/discharges for efficient throughput, collaborates with management to improve outcomes, mentors and trains staff, participates in interviewing and performance actions, and supports scheduling, inventory, and resource management to sustain high-quality care. Requires an RN with an Associate Degree or RN Diploma (TX license/compact), BLS and ACLS, and about 1 year of Med-Surg experience; supervisory experience preferred. The role emphasizes coordination, teamwork, and adherence to policies to support an exceptional patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
- Licensed RN in TX and/or active compact license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- 1 year MedSurg experience
- Supervisory/leadership experience preferred
