Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care during weekend shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM. Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff while monitoring resident conditions and ensuring appropriate interventions are documented. Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies, and communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and family members regarding care needs. Assist in managing multiple residents by prioritizing care based on clinical urgency and promoting a positive work environment through professional leadership. Requires a current active RN license in New Jersey, BLS certification, and minimum two years of nursing experience with one year of supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of New Jersey
- Valid BLS Certification (CPR)
- Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Minimum 2+ years nursing experience in healthcare setting
- Minimum 1+ years supervisor experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers
