Job Summary
The RN Supervisor will act as RN on duty for skilled nursing and the residential care home, supervise and assist skilled nursing staff, ensure high quality of care for Long Term Care and Short Term Rehab residents, keep the Director of Clinical Services and Administrator advised, coordinate paperwork, handle new resident admissions, and maintain flexibility with schedule. Candidates should possess a current CT RN license, strong nursing, communication and interpersonal skills, and be detail oriented.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse with current CT RN license in good standing
- Strong nursing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to be flexible with schedule due to needs of the home
- Quick to advise Administrator/DNS as needed
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Foster strong working relationships with all staff
- Communicate clearly with residents, family and staff
Desired Qualifications
- Long Term experience preferred but not required
- Supervisor skills including teaching, coaching, holding accountable
- Electronic Medical Records experience
