Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care while providing clinical oversight to nursing staff during assigned shifts. Monitor resident conditions, verify appropriate interventions and documentation, and ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies. Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs, prioritizing care based on clinical urgency. Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines to promote optimal resident outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Valid BLS Certification (CPR)
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers
