Job Summary
Manage clinical activities and supervise a work team in the Cardiology and Internal Medicine clinic, including administering schedules and ensuring regulatory compliance. Lead by example while maintaining highest company standards, developing collaborative relationships with physicians and staff to assist with in-baskets and patient calls. Ensure accurate medical record documentation, provide patient education, and respond to provider inquiries to maintain the flow of patient care. Adhere to local, State, and Federal rules, reporting all regulatory concerns within 24 hours and keeping RN license, ACLS, and CPR certifications current. Work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a salary range of $72,800-$130,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
- Valid and current New York RN license
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- Cardiovascular care experience
- Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- 100% of regulatory concerns or unusual occurrences are reported to supervisor nurse within 24 hours of occurrences
- When patient injury or disaster occurs, administrator is notified immediately
- RN license and ACLS and CPR certification kept current and kept on file at the Center
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in nursing
- ACLS
- Outpatient clinic experience
- Windows based computer skills and EMR experience
- Good knowledge of cardiovascular diagnostic tests and medicines used in the treatment of cardiovascular disease
