Job Summary
RN Supervisor House Admin: Assists in providing supplemental nursing staff to in-patient and other areas, coordinates patient placement with hospital departments, assists staff in obtaining supplies and equipment, uses the chain of command to address issues, responds to campus emergencies, implements facility emergency plans, interacts with patients, families, staff and physicians to resolve concerns, supports hospital mission and goals, and emphasizes customer service while contributing to nursing leadership and patient outcomes. Requires BSN, active RN license in Texas (or compact), BLS, ACLS with timeline, PALS timeline, CPI within specified period, and prior management experience; responsibilities span clinical oversight, staff coordination, emergency readiness, and quality improvements within a large health system.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN required
- Two years general duty staff
- Two years management (Manager or Unit Supervisor)
- Some specialty area experience (ICU,-3 years exp, etc.)
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current AHA or ARC BLS Provider
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire
- PALS required within 90 days of hire or no later than January 1st, 2024 for current employees
- CPI required within 30 days of hire
