Job Summary
RN Supervisor House Admin coordinates supplemental nursing staff, supports in-patient and other areas, ensures prompt patient placement with hospital departments, manages supplies and equipment, utilizes the chain of command to address issues, responds to emergencies, implements emergency plans, and interacts with patients, families, staff, and physicians to resolve concerns while upholding the hospital mission and goals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN required
- Two years general duty staff
- Two years management (Manager or Unit Supervisor)
- Some specialty area experience (ICU,-3 years exp, etc.)
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current AHA or ARC BLS Provider
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire
- PALS required within 90 days of hire or no later than January 1st, 2024 for current employees
- CPI required within 30 days of hire
