Job Summary
RN Supervisor House Admin role involves assisting in the provision of supplemental nursing staff, coordinating with hospital departments for appropriate patient placement, assisting staff with supplies and equipment, using chain of command to address issues, responding to campus emergencies, implementing emergency plans, and interacting with patients, families, staff and physicians to resolve concerns, all while supporting hospital mission and goals and prioritizing customer service. The position emphasizes leadership responsibilities, nursing oversight, collaboration with multiple stakeholders, and participation in nursing initiatives and councils to influence patient care and nursing practice within the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN required
- Two years general duty staff
- Two years management (Manager or Unit Supervisor)
- Some specialty area experience (ICU,-3 years exp, etc.)
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current AHA or ARC BLS Provider
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire
- PALS required within 90 days of hire or no later than January 1st, 2024 for current employees
- CPI required within 30 days of hire
