Job Summary
RN Supervisor House Admin responsible for assisting in the provision of supplemental nursing staff to in-patient and other areas, coordinating patient placement with hospital departments, obtaining needed supplies and equipment, using chain of command to address issues, responding to campus emergencies, implementing emergency plans, interacting with patients, families, staff and physicians to ensure prompt resolution of concerns, supporting hospital mission and goals, and emphasizing customer service. Requires BSN, current TX RN license (or compact), BLS, ACLS within 12 months, PALS within 90 days (by 1/1/2024 for current employees), CPI within 30 days, and prior management experience (Manager or Unit Supervisor); duties include collaboration with departments, staff guidance, and participation in nursing initiatives within Medical City Dallas/HCA Healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN required
- Two years general duty staff
- Two years management (Manager or Unit Supervisor)
- Some specialty area experience (ICU,-3 years exp, etc.)
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current AHA or ARC BLS Provider
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire
- PALS required within 90 days of hire or no later than January 1st, 2024 for current employees
- CPI required within 30 days of hire
