Job Summary
RN Supervisor House Admin overseeing nursing staff coordination and patient placement, ensuring timely access to supplies and equipment, utilizing chain of command for department issues, responding to emergencies, implementing facility emergency plans, and supporting patient care improvements in collaboration with managers, hospital councils, and nursing initiatives. Requires BSN, active Texas RN license or compact, and 2 years of general nursing plus 2 years of management experience, with ACLS/PALS timelines and CPI as part of onboarding. Emphasizes leadership, staff collaboration, patient-family interactions, and alignment with hospital mission and nursing advancement. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN required
- Two years general duty staff
- Two years management (Manager or Unit Supervisor)
- Some specialty area experience (ICU,-3 years exp, etc.)
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current AHA or ARC BLS Provider
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire
- PALS required within 90 days of hire or no later than January 1st, 2024 for current employees
- CPI required within 30 days of hire
