RN Supervisor - Full Time Days

Job Summary
Coordinate shift activities by performing initial health screenings, conducting daily clinical rounds, and developing care plans for detained individuals. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to medical emergencies while ensuring adherence to correctional facility security protocols and healthcare regulations. Maintain accurate medical records and educate patients on preventative care and substance abuse prevention. Requires an active Arizona RN license, BLS certification, and two years of leadership experience. Required Qualifications
- Holds a current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse within Arizona
- Must possess an active BLS Certification (American Heart Association required)
- Must pass the facility's criminal background check and drug screening
- Two years of full time RN Leadership experience with knowledge of nursing practice principles and techniques, occupational health and safety standards, infectious disease management, applicable health care laws, regulations, and procedures for direct health care services
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Flexible schedule and availability to work overtime when needed
- Integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift
