Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care while providing clinical oversight to nursing staff during assigned shifts. Monitor resident conditions, ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented, and verify compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies. Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding condition changes, and assist in managing multiple residents by prioritizing care based on clinical urgency. Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and professional leadership while supporting adherence to all applicable nursing regulations and safety standards. Full-time opportunity available with $38-$55/hour pay; no prior supervisory experience required as training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of PA
- Valid BLS Certification (CPR)
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers
