Job Summary
Conduct walking rounds through all Continuing Care neighborhoods to ensure nursing staff provide the highest level of resident care. Monitor staffing and adjust assignments to meet established PPD while reviewing medical records for compliance with regulations and Erickson policy. Assist in resolving resident/family concerns, lead investigations for injuries or medication errors, and direct nursing staff during emergency situations. Provide coaching, counseling, and training as needed, and consult with on-call providers. Perform supervisory reports for the Director of Nursing and fill in as a licensed nurse on the floor in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, or memory care as requested. Work evenings, 3-11:30pm, full-time, 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 years' floor nurse experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living or hospital
- Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft office, internet and web applications
- Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language
- Must be available for evenings, 3-11:30pm
- Full time, 40hrs/week

- Prior supervisory experience
