Job Summary
Conduct walking rounds through all Continuing Care neighborhoods to ensure nursing staff provide the highest level of resident care. Monitor staffing levels across skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and memory care to meet established patient population density. Review medical records for admission papers, incident follow-ups, and clinical changes while assisting in resolving resident and family concerns. Lead investigations for injuries, medication errors, or abuse allegations and consult with on-call providers as needed. Supervise and orient new nursing staff, provide coaching, and direct team responses during emergency situations. Complete supervisory reports for the Director of Nursing and may fill in as a licensed nurse on the floor during your evening shift from 3:00 to 11:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 years' floor nurse experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living or hospital
- Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft office, internet and web applications
- Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language

- Prior supervisory experience
