Job Summary
Conduct walking rounds through all Continuing Care neighborhoods to ensure nursing staff provide the highest level of resident care. Monitor staffing levels and adjust assignments to meet established performance standards. Review medical records for compliance with regulations, nursing standards, and Erickson policy. Assist in resolving resident and family concerns, as well as clinical changes in condition. Lead investigations for injuries, medication errors, and abuse allegations. Direct nursing staff during emergency situations and provide coaching and counseling. Conduct training, education, and evaluations as needed. Participate in the on-call process and fill in as a licensed nurse on the floor during your shift.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 years' floor nurse experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living or hospital
- Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft office, internet and web applications
- Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language

- Experience with electronic medical record
- Prior supervisory experience
