Job Summary
Conduct evening walking rounds through all Continuing Care neighborhoods to ensure nursing staff deliver high-level resident care. Monitor staffing levels and adjust assignments to meet established PPD standards. Review medical records for admission completion, incident follow-up, and clinical changes. Assist in resolving resident concerns, address clinical condition changes, and consult with on-call providers. Lead investigations for injuries, medication errors, or abuse allegations. Supervise and orient new nursing staff, provide coaching, and conduct training and evaluations. Direct nursing staff during emergencies and complete required supervisory reports. Participate in the on-call process as needed. Fill in as a licensed nurse on the floor in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, or memory care during your shift.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 years' floor nurse experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living or hospital
- Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft office, internet and web applications
- Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language

- Prior supervisory experience
