Job Summary
Conduct walking rounds through all Continuing Care neighborhoods to ensure nursing staff provide the highest level of resident care. Monitor staffing levels and adjust assignments to meet established Patient Care Plans. Review medical records for admission papers, incident follow-ups, and clinical changes. Resolve resident and family concerns, assist in assessing clinical condition changes, and consult with on-call providers. Lead investigations for injuries, medication errors, or abuse allegations. Supervise and orient new nursing staff, conduct training and evaluations, and complete supervisory reports. Direct nursing staff during emergency situations and provide coaching as needed. Participate in the on-call process and may fill in as a licensed nurse on the floor in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, or memory care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 years' floor nurse experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living or hospital
- Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft office, internet and web applications
- Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language

- Prior supervisory experience
