Job Summary
RN Supervisor - Emergency Room leads and coordinates nursing care on the ER unit, directs, monitors, and evaluates patient care, assists with admissions/discharges, staffs scheduling, collaborates with management to improve outcomes, and supports nursing strategies and staff development. Requires RN licensure with an Associate Degree, BCLS within 30 days, STABLE within 60 days, TNCC within 18 months, PALS and ACLS qualifications (or instructors) within specified windows, and 1 year of experience. Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 available. Based in a Dallas-area hospital setting with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days
- STABLE within 60 days
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 18 months
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or PALS Instructor within 30 days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days
- ACLS Instructor within 30 days
- 1 year of experience in role or equivalent
- PALS Instructor/ACLS Instructor qualifications optional
- 1 year experience required
