Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise daily nursing activities within the Emergency Department, ensuring sufficient staffing and developing shift work assignments. Monitor staff performance, review medical records for guideline compliance, and address issues and concerns on shift. Ensure all personnel adhere to DPH, HIPAA, and organizational policies while managing orientation for new staff. Participate in weekly administrative meetings and uphold safety protocols regarding fire, electrical, and ergonomic standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current MA RN Licensure
- Five years professional nursing experience
- At least three years of supervisorial experience
- BLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- ACLS Certification
